Terms of Service
Effective date: June 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By using PDF Merger (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
PDF Merger is a free, browser-based tool that allows you to combine multiple PDF files into a single document. All processing occurs client-side on your own device. No files are transmitted to or stored on any server operated by us.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output files will be suitable for any particular use.
4. Limitation of liability
Because all file processing happens client-side on your device, your files are never transmitted to us. Accordingly, we are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or unintended disclosure of your files. In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your original files before using this or any other tool.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process or distribute files containing illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the site in a way that interferes with its operation or availability for other users
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical measures in place on the site
6. Modifications and discontinuation
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you. We may also update these Terms at any time; the effective date above will be updated to reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Intellectual property
You retain all ownership of the files you process using this Service. We claim no rights over the contents of your documents. The site itself, including its design and code, is proprietary unless otherwise noted.
